Last updated this build

This is an honest draft, not reviewed legal text. It describes what this build of NoVay actually does today. It is not a compliance statement, and no certification or regulatory claim is being made.

What we store

  • Your email address and password, handled by the app's authentication service.
  • An optional display name and your written response preferences.
  • Your conversations: titles, chat mode, and every message you and NoVay exchange.
  • A daily counter of how many AI replies your account has generated.
  • Any feedback or support request you choose to send, including its text.

Who can see it

Database access rules restrict every conversation, message, profile and usage row to the account that created it. Accounts marked as administrators in the database can read feedback, support requests and usage totals — that is how the support queue works. Nobody can read your chats through the app.

AI processing

When you send a message, the app's server sends your recent conversation history for that chat, plus your profile preferences, to the AI model provider through Lovable's AI gateway so a reply can be generated. Those providers operate their own systems and retention policies, which this app does not control and cannot describe on their behalf.

Your controls

  • Export every conversation you own as a JSON file from Settings.
  • Delete an individual chat, or delete all of your chats, from Settings.
  • Edit or clear your display name and response preferences at any time.

Deleting a chat removes its messages from the database. It cannot reach back into any AI provider's own systems.

Things we are not claiming

No promise of encryption beyond what the hosting and database platform provide by default. No promise of a specific retention period, deletion timeline, breach-notification process, or regional data residency. If you need any of those guarantees, do not put sensitive information into NoVay.

Contact

There is no published contact address for this build. Use the Help page inside the app to file a support request; it is stored in the database and appears in the operator's queue.
